Update July 27: Moved from Suspect list to the Not Recommended list. There are no new payments since June 30 when the payment gateways were removed and members are not able to request payments since then. Moreover, all recent complaints on their forum have been deleted and members can’t post on the complaints board. The site has been sold but it appears to be abandoned. I was waiting to see if the new owner can handle this site, however enough time passed but the situation at Trubux didn’t improve. So Trubux will remain on the Not Recommended list till they start to pay again.

Things we liked about when they were paying:

Fair Affiliate System – A user can refer up to 100 new members to the site. It’s not unlimited, but in our opinion, 100 direct referrals is a solid referral base that will help you in increasing your daily earnings.

Free Worldwide Service – Trubux is international PTC service, there are no any registration restrictions, individuals from all over the world are allowed to join the site and earn with it. Members are not obligated to invest and they may cashout regardless of their membership type or country.

Forum – They have a forum. In our opinion, a PTC site should have a forum. The forum is a place where members and staff can communicate with each other. Members can post their success stories or doubts, post payment proofs, share the experience that they had with the site, ask for support and stay informed about the recent changes made to the site. Usually, on the forum you can notice the first red signs if something is wrong. If members complain about non-payments or payment delays, then most likely the site is experiencing problems.

What we do not like about

License Expired – Their script license has expired and the site is not available.

Stopped Paying – There are no new payments since June 30.

Forum Censorship – Many forum complaints were removed. New posts on the complaints board are being filtered and must be approved by the admin before they appears to public eyes.

No ads – For months there is only one available ad to click. Members can’t earn from their referrals because they need to click at least 3 ads every day to earn from referrals the day after. Right now, Trubux is just big waste of time.

Unverified Paypal – For a limited time, they have enabled deposits and cashouts through Paypal. But their Paypal account is unverified.
trubux paypal account unverified
Which is risky and Paypal may give them troubles about that. You should not run a business and accept/send payments with an unverified Paypal, specially not in the PTC industry. As their admin said, they will use Paypal for a limited period, and it may be removed anytime. If you let members to make deposits through Paypal, tomorrow they will want to cashout via Paypal as well. How they will pay those members if Paypal is disabled in the meantime? Through Payza? What about members who don’t use Payza at all? As per their Terms of service, if you’ve made purchases, you can only request an unlimited amount to be paid to the payment processor you’ve used to make the most of your purchases.

New Site – Generally, we do not recommend buying memberships on new sites (under a year old), particularly not on a bux sites. Why is that so? Well, most bux programs turn into a non-paying sites. In our opinion, it is better to wait some time until the site proves that it is stable and sustainable, rather than invest in the early phase and risk to lose your investment if the site stops paying. Be sure to test a new site if you plan to invest upfront. It is very important to do your research before doing so.

A Bux Program – Trubux can be categorized as a Bux site. Bux sites offer self sponsored ads with higher click rate compared to real ptc sites. For most bux sites, the main source of income is from selling memberships and renting referrals. Usually, at the beginning there will be sufficient income gained from members investments or rentals, and the site can pay its members without issues, but as time marches on, more and more investors will start making profits, and very likely the site will be in a situation to owe more to their members than the generated income, because usually there is no big base of advertisers that will compensate the difference in the cash flow.

Speaking of the bux model sustainability – the “bux” model have been proven many times as unsustainable. Be sure to test a new bux site and do your research if you plan to invest money. In my opinion, there is a high risk involved in such investments. Either you will get profit, or you will lose your investment if the site stop paying. Bux sites heavily relies on selling upgrades or referrals to pay members, and usually the main advertiser is the admin himself. Typically, a bux site will lack of advertising revenue, which is why they tend to collapse.

  • Important Info About the Site
  • Changes and Updates
  • Number of Ads: 15+/-
  • Average Daily Earnings Without Referrals: $0.06 +/- (at the time of review)
  • Earnings per Own and per Referral Clicks

trubux earnings per own and referrals clicks
The clicks you earn from referrals are directly related to the clicks you make. You must click the minimum number of required ads daily to earn from your referrals the day after. Standard members must click at least 3 advertisements.

  • Prizes – Adgid – They have game called “AdGrid” which you can play daily. How to play the game? There is a picture on a grid and you have to click the square that has the prize. When you click on a square, a new window will open. You will be shown an advertiser site with 30 seconds timer. After the time passed, if you win, you will be shown a frame telling you how much you have won and your winning prize will be credited to your account balance. Prize is $0.10. You will be given a number of tries daily which will depend on your membership. Standard members get 10 chances to win.
  • Cashout Options and Conditions – All payments are made via Payza or Paypal. The minimum to cashout is set at $2.00 for the first request and $5.00 for all subsequent requests. You can only request one payment at a time. Free members can request one payout every 7 days.
  • Inactive Accounts Suspension – After 31 days of inactivity, your account will be temporarily suspended and permanently suspended after 180 days of inactivity.

  • July 27, 2013 – Moved to Not Recommended list.
  • July 14, 2013 – Moved to Suspect list.
  • June 30, 2013 – Stepped Payout system added – the minimum is $2.00 for the first and $5.00 for all subsequent payout requests.
  • June 6, 2013 – Review completed, site added to the Test List.

Bottom Line:

Trubux was a poorly managed new PTC site, launched on May 20, 2013 and they stopped paying on June 30. More or less, they use the same business model which lead many ptc programs to their failure or forced them to change it drastically in order to survive. Consequently, many users will have their doubts about this site. Members were complaining about not being able to request payout for months and most of these threads were deleted from the forum. Recently the site was sold to new owner but the situation didn’t change at all. Payout delays, no ads and no activity from both the new and old owner. Currently the site is not available because their script license has expired.

I’ve worked hard for about a month to earn 2$ in Trubux and now they don’t pay it :'( I encourage others not to use it…. 🙁 Because all of a sudden settings have changed and now when I click the cashout button, it says no payment methods found! Even the admin seems to be a liar. . 🙁 🙁 :'(

  4. This admin go to vacation for two weeks. I don’t know whether true or not…

    • There is official announcement on their forum about this. Right now, we can’t know if it’s true or not. Payments will not be processed during these 2 weeks. However, 2 weeks without payments is a long time, the admin should find someone who will process payments while he is on a vacation. We’ll see what happens when he returns.

What about their Payza account? Is their Payza account also not unverified?
